Paddle & Pixel is a web studio in Ottawa, Ontario, operated by Paddle & Pixel Inc. This website gives prospective customers information about our website design, online booking, online store, care plan and related services.

Website information

We work to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but service descriptions, examples and prices are for general information. Prices shown are starting amounts in Canadian dollars, before applicable taxes. The price for your project depends on what it needs and is set out in your proposal. Custom projects, such as online booking, customer queues and online stores, are quoted individually.

Free consultation and homepage concept

• The first consultation is free.
• For qualifying website projects, we may prepare one complimentary homepage design concept.
• The concept shows our proposed design direction. It isn’t a complete website or a working application.
• Receiving a consultation, concept or quote doesn’t oblige you to buy anything from us.
• The concept belongs to Paddle & Pixel Inc. Your own logo, text and photos that appear in it stay yours.

Quotes and projects

Sending an enquiry, having a consultation, or receiving a concept or a quote doesn’t create an agreement for paid work, and doesn’t commit you or us to a project.

Paid projects and care plans begin only after you approve a written proposal or service agreement and pay any agreed deposit. That agreement, not these terms, sets out the work, costs, timeline and other conditions.

Intellectual property

The Paddle & Pixel name and logo, and the text, design and graphics of this website, belong to Paddle & Pixel Inc. or are used with permission or under licence (for example, the website’s typefaces are open-source fonts). Please don’t copy or reuse them without our permission.

Screenshots of projects belong to the businesses shown and appear with their permission. Other names and trademarks mentioned on this website belong to their owners.

External links

This website links to other websites, including our portfolio projects and service providers’ pricing pages. Those sites are run by others and have their own terms and privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for their content.

Changes to the website

We may update this website, including our services, prices and offers, at any time. Changes don’t affect a proposal or agreement you’ve already approved.
